About Me

Thanks for visiting my website. This is a picture of me during a winter ascent of Kelso Ridge on Torrey's Peak.

The passion to record accurately what I was experiencing visually in the majestic mountain landscapes of Colorado ignited my interest in photography.

As the child of military photographer parents, I naturally took to photography eventually earning a degree from the Art Institute of Colorado.

I have worked as a freelance photographer, a retail consultant and now as a national technical representative for Tamron USA.

I have been taking pictures of nature and other subjects for the last 20 years.  I have always been drawn to the outdoors. I have spent many days hiking into beautiful places to photograph.

After a
ttending the Art Institute of Colorado and graduating in 1999 with a  "Certificate of Excellence" in Digital Imaging., I began my career in the photographic industry.

Since then I have been fortunate to visit and photograph many wonderful places while working in the photographic industry.

I’ve worked for Robert Waxman, Mike’s Camera, Olympus America and now Tamron USA. I greatly enjoy working with people, teaching photography, working store demos industry trade shows and events.

I look forward to hearing about your photographic adventures and seeing you in a store or along the trail sometime.
